Onyịnye Alheri is a multifaceted human currently immersed in artistic, birthwork and radical organizing praxes that address environmental justice, police & prison abolition, and the hypermedicaliztion of birth. Onyịnye is a board member of Communities United, a grassroots organization that builds leadership and power among those most directly impacted by racism, poverty, trauma, the War on Drugs and criminalization. 


ỌOnyịnye Alheri’s politic is grounded in harm-reduction, transformative justice and radical inclusion. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Onyịnye has lived in many places and is currently based in her childhood home of Baltimore. Ọ earned a bachelor’s of arts (BA) in International Studies & Philosophy from Macalester College and a master’s in social work (MSW) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
